Dr Robert Obrzud, LL.M.

Attorney at Law, Assistant Professor in the Department of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdańsk, and lecturer at the German Law School of the University of Gdańsk and the University of Cologne.

Dr. Robert Obrzud studied law at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdańsk. He graduated from the German Law School at the University of Gdańsk, organized in cooperation with the University of Cologne. He also holds a postgraduate Master’s degree in German Law from the Faculty of Legal Sciences at Goethe University Frankfurt, where he earned the degree of Magister Legum (LL.M). He was a scholarship holder of the Hessian Bar Association Foundation (Stiftung der Hessischen Rechtsanwaltschaft). He earned his PhD in legal sciences at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdańsk, with a dissertation on “Challenging the Actions of a Bankrupt in Cross-Border Bankruptcy.”

He completed his attorney apprenticeship at the Gdańsk Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law

He gained professional experience in law firms of lawyers and attorneys at law in Gdańsk and Frankfurt am Main. He also worked at the Austrian Consulate in Gdańsk.

He specializes in commercial law and corporate law, private international law, transportation and forwarding law, as well as bankruptcy and restructuring law.

He is fluent in German and English.

Marcin Łapiński

Attorney at Law with over a decade of practical experience in debt recovery processes.

A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdańsk. He completed a bailiff apprenticeship and passed the bailiff exam, as well as the bar exam. He is a graduate of postgraduate studies in Restructuring and Bankruptcy Law (Restructuring and Liquidation of Enterprises) conducted by Lazarski University in Warsaw. He is a member of the Gdańsk Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law. 

He gained professional experience in one of the largest bailiff offices in the Tri-City and in law firms As a bailiff assistant, he conducted thousands of effective enforcement proceedings, including complex and high-profile cases. He utilized his practical knowledge of court enforcement in a debt collection company, being responsible for collecting large debt portfolios, as well as in law firms. He is the author of articles in the professional journal for court bailiffs, Nowa Currenda.

He specializes in debt collection, civil proceedings, enforcement proceedings, bankruptcy law, and restructuring law.

He is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of French.

He enjoys relaxing by running or cycling in the Tricity Landscape Park.
